3. Quotes and Estimates
3.1 Quote Validity
- Written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
- Prices may change due to material cost fluctuations or site condition changes
- Site inspections may be required before providing final quotes
3.2 Quote Accuracy
- Quotes are based on information provided by you and preliminary site assessment
- Final pricing may vary if actual site conditions differ from initial assessment
- Additional costs will be discussed and agreed upon before proceeding
3.3 Quote Acceptance
- Quotes become binding contracts when signed by both parties
- A deposit may be required to secure booking and materials
- Work commencement is subject to receipt of signed agreement and any required deposit
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Pricing
- All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated
- Prices are subject to change without notice for future quotes
- Additional charges may apply for after-hours, weekend, or emergency services
4.2 Payment Terms
- Residential customers: Payment due upon completion unless otherwise agreed
- Commercial customers: Net 14 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed
- Large projects: Progress payments may be required as work stages are completed
4.3 Payment Methods
We accept payment by:
- Cash
- Electronic funds transfer (EFT)
- Credit card (processing fees may apply)
- Bank cheque
4.4 Overdue Payments
- Interest may be charged on overdue accounts at 2% per month
- Collection costs and legal fees may be recovered from customers with overdue accounts
- Services may be suspended for accounts more than 30 days overdue
5. Installation and Service Work
5.1 Site Access
You must provide:
- Safe and reasonable access to work areas
- Clear access for vehicles and equipment
- Notification of any site hazards or special conditions
- Compliance with any site-specific safety requirements
5.2 Site Preparation
- You are responsible for preparing the site as specified in the quote
- Additional charges may apply if site preparation is required by Homeline
- Work may be delayed if site preparation is inadequate
5.3 Permits and Approvals
- You are responsible for obtaining necessary permits and approvals
- We can assist with permit applications for an additional fee
- Work will not commence without required permits
5.4 Work Standards
- All work will be performed in accordance with Australian Standards
- We use quality materials and employ qualified technicians
- Work will be completed in a professional and workmanlike manner
6. Materials and Products

- Products will be supplied as specified in the quote
- Substitutions may be made for equivalent or superior products
- Material changes will be discussed with you before implementation

- Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be affected by supplier delays

6.3 Customer-Supplied Materials

7. Timeframes and Scheduling

7.2 Scheduling Changes
- We reserve the right to reschedule work due to weather or operational requirements

- Priority may be given to emergency repairs
7.3 Customer Delays
- Additional costs may apply if work is delayed due to customer actions

8. Warranties
8.1 Workmanship Warranty
- We provide a 12-month warranty on installation workmanship
- Warranty covers defects in installation but not normal wear and tear
- Warranty is void if unauthorized modifications are made
8.2 Product Warranties
- Manufacturer warranties apply to all products as specified
- We will assist with warranty claims during the warranty period
- Product warranties are separate from our workmanship warranty
8.3 Warranty Exclusions
Warranties do not cover:
- Normal wear and tear

- Damage from extreme weather events

9. Maintenance and Service

- Failure to maintain products may void warranties

- Service fees may be waived if repair work is performed

10. Safety and Compliance

11. Limitation of Liability

15. Dispute Resolution

- Complaints should be directed to our office in the first instance
- We will investigate and respond to complaints within 7 business days
- Most disputes can be resolved through direct communication
15.2 Mediation
- If direct resolution fails, disputes may be referred to mediation
- Mediation costs will be shared equally between parties
- Mediation will be conducted in Melbourne, Victoria
15.3 Legal Action
